Mother Nature, for me!!!
Right now, I'm doing fruit, vegetables and animals on artist's board, above
...and below a bunch of rural and xmassy fruit pics, mounted and framed for sale at a local gallery
This is Monet's sunflowers. I spent about half an hour each day for six days on this. I enjoyed it and am feeling much more confident with paint. I feel like a real artist. I did it with my fingers until the second last day, when I used a brush and I wipe my fingers on my special French shirt. Then I get back to my cartoon sketching.

(MODERN MYTHS extra terrestrials) there have been many tales of aliens in modern times, from long, stick-thin figures with large heads and glowing eyes,to tiny little bugs,to green creatures with many arms and eyes which fly in spaceships.people are fascinated by the idea that there may be life on others planets; intelligent, hostile, friendly, stupid or other.there have been countless stories, books, films and plays about all kinds of extra terrestrial life, but until we visit more planets,we may never know if we are alone in the universe.

(FOLKLORE Frosty looks) jack frost is an elfish figure who symbolizes crisp, cold wintry weather. he is said to leave patterns in the autumn leaves and the patterns in the frost that are left on windows, it is thought that the nickname jack frost comes from Norse mythology as 'jokul' who was the cause of icicles and 'frosty'

We were at the National Portrait Gallery in 2013 and everyone kept walking past this picture on the right because they thought it was a photo. But it wasn't. It's an acrylic on linen painting and I sat on the floor and sketched him. Later we found out they had stools for artists!

We went to see 'Happy Days' last week in London. There was a lady buried in the sand and a man crawling along. It took me about 4 hours.

Monet's 'Van Gogh'
This is wax crayons. It took about 6 hours. I've been drawing for 7 years. Before that, I hated drawing but I'm not sure why. Maybe because I couldn't quite get it as I wanted. I can't remember.

Monet's 'The Magpie'
It took me about 8 hours to draw this. Snow in the sun is tricky to get right. I got £5 for working so hard! Oh, it's pencil.

Picture
This is Monet's Rue Montorgeuil. My Mum saw it in the Musée d'Orsay and asked me to paint it. Acrylic paints. It took about 20 hours or a bit more and there's lots of layering. I got £50 and I bought Video Game Art and some dvds.

We watched the Lee Hammond dvd about portraiture. You start with trying to get the light on the sphere correct. Then we did a portrait of her granddaughter. We can't remember her name. My parents did a portrait too but theirs didn't look like the little girl.
