I am an artist and animator. I spend hours every day doing one or the other. My other great love is travelling. I want to go everywhere and meet everyone.

This is Monet's sunflowers. I spent about half an hour each day for six days on this. I enjoyed it and am feeling much more confident with paint. I feel like a real artist. I did it with my fingers until the second last day, when I used a brush and I wipe my fingers on my special French shirt. Then I get back to my cartoon sketching.
This is Loraine Smith. We call her Doddy. In pencil.
My pencil portrait of Greg Wise, the actor, from a poster for his play.
This is my mum's pal, the writer, Marius Gabriel
We were at the National Portrait Gallery on Thursday and everyone kept walking past this picture on the right because they thought it was a photo. But it wasn't. It's an acrylic on linen painting and I sketched him.

This is wax crayons. It took about 6 hours. I've been drawing for 7 years. Before that, I hated drawing but I'm not sure why. Maybe because I couldn't quite get it as I wanted. I can't remember.

It took me about 8 hours to draw this. Snow in the sun is tricky to get right. I got £5 for working so hard! Oh, it's pencil.
This is Monet's Rue Montorgeuil. My Mum saw it in the Musée d'Orsay and asked me to paint it. Acrylic paints. It took about 20 hours or a bit more and there's lots of layering. I got £50 and I bought Video Game Art and some dvds.
We watched the Lee Hammond dvd about portraiture. You start with trying to get the light on the sphere correct. Then we did a portrait of her granddaughter. We can't remember her name. My parents did a portrait too but theirs didn't look like the little girl.
